Best Roblox Games (2026) — Top 50 Games to Play Right Now
Roblox reported 123 million daily active users for Q2 2026 in its July 30, 2026 earnings release — up 10% year over year, but down for the third straight quarter from the 152 million peak in Q3 2025. The library keeps growing anyway, and finding the experiences actually worth your time is the hard part. We rank the top 50 by sustained concurrent players, with total visits as the tiebreaker for staying power.
Whether you're into anime fighters, cozy farming sims, competitive shooters, or classic roleplay, this list covers it all. Every count below was pulled from Roblox's own API and re-verified on August 17, 2026 — and this week's pass moved eleven games in or out of the fifty, because a lot changed since our last check.
Table of Contents
Top 10 Roblox Games (2026)
These ten pull the highest sustained concurrent player counts on Roblox. Every number here is a 7-day median taken from Roblox's own games API, sampled every six hours between August 10 and August 17, 2026 — not a single lucky screenshot. That matters, because Roblox traffic swings roughly two-to-one between the overnight trough and the evening peak, and a snapshot taken at the wrong hour can misrank a game by five places. Event spikes are called out as spikes rather than folded into the ranking.
1. Murder Mystery 2
Sustained players: ~962K • 7-day peak: 1.22M • Total visits: 29.3B • Genre: Social Deduction
Murder Mystery 2 is the biggest game on Roblox right now, and it isn't close. Its Summer 2026 event launched July 23 and the game has held a ~962K median ever since, touching 1.22 million concurrent in our sampling window. Be clear-eyed about what that is: this is event-inflated traffic, and MM2's off-event baseline is a few hundred thousand. It is still the platform's most durable social game, with 29.3 billion lifetime visits behind it.
Each round assigns players a role — innocent, sheriff, or murderer — and the tension of working out who's who never gets old. The knife-trading economy, with rare vintage knives holding real value, keeps collectors engaged between rounds. At its core it's a social game as much as a deduction one.

2. Brookhaven RP
Sustained players: ~575K • Total visits: 86.5B • Genre: Roleplay / Life Simulator
Brookhaven RP is the evergreen heart of Roblox and the most-visited experience the platform has ever produced — 86.5 billion lifetime visits as of August 17, 2026. A ~575K median means it is not coasting on legacy either; strip out Murder Mystery 2's event and Brookhaven is the biggest thing on Roblox on an ordinary day. Themed cars, houses, and seasonal updates keep it there year after year.
The premise is timeless: pick a house, grab a vehicle, and roleplay with friends in an open-world town. There's no grind and no complex mechanics — you just jump in and play, which is exactly why it stays the ideal starting point for new Roblox players.

3. Grow a Garden 2
Sustained players: ~408K • Total visits: 1.62B • Genre: Farming Simulator
The sequel to 2026's viral farming phenomenon launched over the summer and hit 400K+ concurrent within twenty minutes of going live. It has since settled: our August 10–17 median is ~408K against a 482K weekly high, softer than the 450K–500K band it held earlier in the summer but still enough for third place outright. The original Grow a Garden's playerbase largely migrated here.
The loop that made the first game a hit is intact: plant seeds, water crops, harvest, sell, and chase tiny drop rates on legendary and mythic variants. The sequel adds deeper progression, a larger plot, and a rebuilt trading economy. It rewards patience over reflexes — you don't need to be fast or skilled, just consistent.

4. Blox Fruits
Sustained players: ~343K • Total visits: 63.5B • Genre: Action RPG
Blox Fruits is the king of Roblox RPGs and one of the most consistent top-five titles on the platform, running a ~343K median with a 482K weekly high. Inspired by One Piece, it lets you find and eat devil fruits that grant unique combat abilities, level across multiple seas, fight bosses, and grind for rare fruit drops. With 63.5 billion lifetime visits, it's one of the most-played Roblox games ever made.
Its staying power comes from a deep progression system and a reliable update cadence from developer Gamer Robot — new fruits, islands, and bosses land on schedule. The rare-fruit trading scene has become a game within the game. The early grind is slow, but the Second Sea is where it truly opens up.

5. 99 Nights in the Forest
Sustained players: ~273K • Total visits: 29.0B • Genre: Horror / Survival
99 Nights in the Forest was the breakout horror survival hit of 2026 and it kept climbing through the summer, holding a ~273K median with a 369K weekly high. This is where median sampling earns its keep — third-party trackers quote anything from 180K to 360K for this game depending on the hour they check. The concept is straightforward: survive 99 increasingly dangerous nights in a forest that turns against you.
What sets it apart is atmosphere over cheap scares. The forest grows darker and less predictable as you progress, and the sound design builds genuine unease without leaning on sudden loud noises. Resource management and shelter-building add survival depth in the later nights. With 29 billion visits, it's no flash in the pan.

6. Steal a Brainrot
Sustained players: ~219K • Total visits: 72.7B • Genre: Multiplayer / Collecting
Steal a Brainrot holds the all-time concurrent-player record for any single game, anywhere: roughly 25.4 million concurrent, set in October 2025, breaking Grow a Garden's ~22.4 million. (We previously dated that record to a July 2026 event, which was wrong — the milestone belongs to autumn 2025.) Everyday traffic is a different animal: a ~219K median across our sampling window, which still places it sixth. It is also still capable of enormous bursts — our tracker caught a 1.99 million concurrent spike on August 15, 2026. Anyone quoting "millions playing right now" as its normal traffic is confusing a record with a Tuesday.
The hook is simple and social — collect meme "brainrot" characters and swipe them from other players' bases, racing to build the most valuable lineup before someone steals yours. The constant risk of losing your collection is what keeps servers full.

7. RIVALS
Sustained players: ~218K • Total visits: 17.4B • Genre: Competitive FPS
RIVALS is the top competitive shooter on Roblox by a wide margin, holding a ~218K median. It features tight gunplay, a ranked ladder, weapon skins, and fast matches that keep you clicking "play again." For a Roblox shooter the mechanics feel unusually polished — closer to a proper FPS than most platform shooters.
The ranked system gives competitive players something real to grind for, and the skill-based matchmaking is better than most Roblox FPS games. If you've wanted a Roblox answer to Valorant or CS2, RIVALS is the closest you'll get.
8. Animal Hospital
Sustained players: ~211K • Total visits: 1.92B • Genre: Story / Horror-Mystery
New to this list, and overdue. Animal Hospital — the one by the Animal Anomaly group, not the obby with a similar name — launched May 10, 2026 and has already banked 1.92 billion visits, holding a ~211K median with a 301K weekly high. That is top-eight traffic from a game barely three months old.
It reads as a veterinary-clinic sim for about ten minutes before the anomalies start, and the pull is the slow-burn mystery underneath the routine: shifts, patients, and paperwork that gradually stop making sense. The developers push story content on a roughly bi-weekly cadence, most recently the Lore Expansion update on August 8, 2026, which is why the playerbase keeps compounding instead of decaying.

9. Adopt Me
Sustained players: ~163K • Total visits: 44.4B • Genre: Pet Collecting / Trading
Adopt Me defined what a Roblox hit looks like — at its 2020 peak it broke the platform's concurrent record. It has slid from the top five it once owned, but a ~163K median and 44.4 billion lifetime visits still make it one of the biggest games anywhere, and it hit 297K in our sampling window. Developer Uplift Games keeps it fresh with seasonal egg releases and themed events.
The core loop is satisfying: hatch eggs, raise pets, trade, and decorate your house. Its trading economy is one of the deepest on Roblox, with legendary pets commanding serious value, and it remains especially popular with younger players and families.

10. Jujutsu Shenanigans
Sustained players: ~156K • Total visits: 6.84B • Genre: Anime Fighting
Anime fighters are a massive genre on Roblox, and Jujutsu Shenanigans leads the pack with a ~156K median — more than the next three anime fighters combined. Based on Jujutsu Kaisen, it features domain expansions, cursed techniques, and PvP arena combat with surprising depth: combos, counters, and technique-specific movesets that reward practice. Regular updates add new characters and abilities, keeping the meta fresh.

Games 11-25
The next fifteen games all pull strong player counts and have dedicated communities. They don't quite match the top 10 in raw numbers, but each one is worth your time. Figures are 7-day medians for August 10–17, 2026 unless marked with an asterisk — those games aren't on our six-hourly tracker yet, so their number is a single live reading taken August 17 during an off-peak hour and their real daily peak runs higher.
11. Fish It
Players: ~130K* • Total visits: 4.67B • Genre: Fishing RPG
Fish It is the surprise sim hit of 2026. A fishing game pulling six figures sounds unlikely, but it nails the satisfying loop of casting your line, reeling in catches, and upgrading gear. The rare-fish system creates a collecting metagame that keeps players hooked for hundreds of hours, and seasonal fish, limited-time events, and leaderboards keep the community active well past the initial hype.
12. Pet Simulator 99
Players: ~125K • Total visits: 2.60B • Genre: Simulator
BIG Games' Pet Simulator franchise has been a Roblox staple for years, and Pet Simulator 99 is the most polished entry at a ~125K median. The proven formula holds: hatch pets, merge them into stronger versions, explore new worlds, and chase increasingly rare pets. Seasonal events and limited-time pets — the Piñata Maze content is live as of August 17, 2026 — keep the community active, and BIG Games runs one of the strongest Discords on the platform.

13. Steal An Egg
Players: ~119K • Total visits: 53M • Genre: Multiplayer / Collecting
The fastest riser on this list and the newest game on it: Steal An Egg went live July 25, 2026 and was already holding a ~119K median three weeks later. It is unashamedly in the Steal a Brainrot lineage — hatch and collect pets, then raid other players' bases for theirs — and the low visit total next to that player count is the tell of a game still in its steep climb rather than one coasting on backlog. Worth watching; too new for us to have a full guide yet.
14. Speed Monkey Escape
Players: ~114K • Total visits: 250M • Genre: Obby / Speedrun
A +1-speed obby that turned into one of the platform's quiet giants, holding a ~114K median with a 243K weekly high. You stack speed upgrades, escape progressively absurd courses, and race other players through them. It is the purest "one more run" game in the top 25 and it costs nothing to understand — which is exactly why it scales.

15. Anime Expeditions
Players: ~103K • Total visits: 686M • Genre: Anime RPG
Anime Expeditions runs a ~103K median and peaked at 166K in our window, riding its Warrior Saga content. It is a party-based anime RPG — recruit fighters, run expeditions, upgrade your roster — and it sits in the sweet spot between the grind-heavy anime RPGs and the pure PvP battlegrounds, which is a lane with less competition than it looks.

16. Fisch
Players: ~90K* • Total visits: 4.78B • Genre: Fishing / Adventure
Fisch takes a different tack from Fish It — it's more about open-world boat exploration and discovering fishing spots across a vast ocean. Rod upgrades, rare-fish collecting, and seasonal events give it solid long-term progression. If you enjoy the genre, Fisch and Fish It complement each other well rather than compete.
17. Dress to Impress
Players: ~85K • Total visits: 10.8B • Genre: Fashion / Social
Dress to Impress gives you a theme, a timer, and a wardrobe, then lets other players judge your outfit. It's a fashion competition at heart, and the creativity the community brings each round is genuinely impressive. It cooled from its late-June event highs but still holds a ~85K median and 10.8 billion visits.

18. Violence District
Players: ~67K • Total visits: 1.29B • Genre: Combat / Sandbox
Violence District has been live since October 2024 and quietly built to a ~67K median, spiking to 103K in our window on its current content. It's a melee-and-gunplay sandbox with a harder edge than most Roblox fighters, and its community skews older than the platform average — which is part of why it rarely shows up on lists like this despite the numbers.

19. Forsaken
Players: ~64K • Total visits: 5.52B • Genre: Horror / Survival
Forsaken entered the horror space with strong atmosphere and survival mechanics that set it apart from jumpscare-heavy alternatives. With a ~64K median it holds a solid niche alongside 99 Nights in the Forest, and its cooperative gameplay makes it great for groups.

20. The Strongest Battlegrounds
Players: ~55K* • Total visits: 19.0B • Genre: Anime PvP Fighter
The Strongest Battlegrounds is an anime-inspired PvP fighter with flashy combos and satisfying combat. Inspired by One Punch Man, it makes you feel powerful — attacks land with real impact and full combos are deeply satisfying. Easy to pick up for casual fun, with enough depth to keep competitive players busy for months. Its 19 billion lifetime visits are the fourth-highest on this entire list, so treat the off-peak reading as a floor.

21. Berry Avenue
Players: ~54K • Total visits: 8.58B • Genre: Roleplay
Berry Avenue is a roleplay game with a community distinct from Brookhaven — more customization and a younger-focused aesthetic give it a different feel. With 8.58 billion visits and a ~54K median, it's clearly found its audience.

22. LifeTogether RP
Players: ~53K • Total visits: 3.82B • Genre: Roleplay
LifeTogether RP has carved out a dedicated roleplay community at a ~53K median. It leans into collaborative, open-ended roleplay with a steady stream of updates, and it's become a genuine alternative for players looking for something beyond Brookhaven.

23. Dandy's World
Players: ~50K • Total visits: 7.32B • Genre: Horror / Cooperative
Dandy's World is a cooperative horror game where you play colorful characters trapped in a twisted theme park. The contrast between cheerful designs and an unsettling environment creates a unique atmosphere, and team coordination is essential for survival — one of the better group horror experiences on Roblox.

24. Evade
Players: ~48K • Total visits: 9.04B • Genre: Horror / Chase
Evade drops you into frantic nextbot chases — AI characters sprint after you through varied maps while you scramble to survive. The simplicity is the appeal: it's chaotic, funny with friends, and the random nextbot spawns keep each round unpredictable. With 9 billion visits, it's built lasting appeal from a straightforward concept.
25. Sol's RNG
Players: ~48K • Total visits: 2.08B • Genre: Luck / Collector
Sol's RNG is the unlikely hit built entirely around rolling for random auras — the rarer the aura, the more clout you carry. It's pure luck with no combat or complex mechanics, just the dopamine of chasing increasingly rare rolls, and the trading scene around rare auras has become a mini-economy of its own. Its Summer Event content is live as of August 17, 2026.

How We Ranked These Games
Ranking 50 games across wildly different genres isn't straightforward. A competitive FPS and a cozy farming sim aren't trying to do the same thing, so we can't judge them on the same criteria alone. Here's how we weighted our rankings.
Peak Concurrent Players
This is the primary ranking factor, but we rank on the median rather than the peak. Concurrent players (CCU) can't be inflated by bots or accumulated over years the way visit counts can, which makes it the most honest measure of current popularity — but a single reading is close to meaningless, because Roblox traffic swings about two-to-one between the overnight trough and the evening peak. We sample every six hours from Roblox's own games API and rank on the seven-day median, so a game has to sustain its audience to place. Where a weekly high tells a story of its own, we report it separately.
Total Visits
Total visits show a game's lifetime reach. Brookhaven's 86.5 billion visits are a legacy no newer game can match, even one riding a temporary CCU spike. We use total visits as the tiebreaker, and as a sanity check in the other direction too — Steal An Egg's 53 million visits against a 119K median is the signature of a game still climbing steeply, not one coasting on backlog.
Update Frequency
Games that receive regular updates tend to maintain their player base better than those that don't. We considered how often developers push meaningful content updates — not just bug fixes, but new features, areas, items, and events that give players reasons to come back.
Community Ratings & Sentiment
We looked at like-to-dislike ratios on Roblox, community discussions on Reddit and Discord, and general player sentiment. A game with a 95% like ratio is delivering a better experience than one sitting at 70%, even if both have similar player counts.
Frequently Asked Questions
Murder Mystery 2, on a ~962K median for August 10–17, 2026 with a 1.22M weekly high. Read that with the asterisk it deserves: its Summer 2026 event launched July 23 and is doing the lifting, and MM2's off-event baseline is a few hundred thousand. On ordinary traffic the biggest game on Roblox is Brookhaven RP at a ~575K median — also the most-visited experience the platform has ever had, at 86.5 billion visits. Grow a Garden 2 is third at ~408K, down from the 450K–500K band it held earlier in the summer.
Two genuine breakouts this year. Animal Hospital (the Animal Anomaly one) launched May 10, 2026 and already runs a ~211K median on 1.92 billion visits — top-eight traffic from a three-month-old game. Steal An Egg launched July 25, 2026 and hit a ~119K median within three weeks. Alongside them: Grow a Garden 2 (~408K), 99 Nights in the Forest (~273K) and Fish It (~130K). Speed Monkey Escape (~114K) is the sleeper nobody lists.
Roblox reported 123 million daily active users for Q2 2026 on July 30, 2026 — up 10% year over year, but down a third straight quarter from the 152 million peak in Q3 2025 (144 million in Q4 2025, 132 million in Q1 2026). Players logged 29 billion hours in the quarter. It is still one of the most-played platforms in the world; the direction of travel is just worth knowing.
Blox Fruits, and it is not particularly close on either quality or scale. Inspired by One Piece, it features devil fruits, leveling across multiple seas, PvP battles, and consistent updates that keep a ~343K median player base engaged. King Legacy (~9K) and Deepwoken (~3.6K) are much smaller but remain the strongest alternatives — Deepwoken especially if you want permadeath and real stakes.
Yes. 99 Nights in the Forest is the biggest, on a ~273K median with an atmosphere-first approach to survival horror — third-party trackers quote it anywhere from 180K to 360K because they sample at a single hour. Forsaken pulls ~64K with strong cooperative gameplay, Dandy's World ~50K, and Evade ~48K. DOORS keeps a dedicated community at ~20K on 7.59 billion lifetime visits.
Great starter games include Brookhaven RP (~575K median, easy-to-learn roleplay with no complex mechanics), Adopt Me (~163K, intuitive pet collecting and trading), Natural Disaster Survival (~10K, simple survival fun) and Grow a Garden 2 (~408K, relaxing farming with a gentle learning curve). All have welcoming communities and none require prior Roblox experience.
